Assembly Of God Beliefs
First
Assembly of God is affiliated with the Assemblies of God a cooperative
fellowship formed in 1914. We are committed to fulfilling a
Three-Fold Mission:

To
introduce the lost to Christ.

To
provide an environment for worshiping God and fellowshipping with
others who hold similar values and love for God.

To
effectively train and nurture believers.
Salvation:
We believe the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance
and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. (I Peter 1:18,19)
Baptism in the Holy Spirit: We believe
that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is given to believers who ask
for it. (Acts 2:4)
Divine Healing: We believe that the redemptive
work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in
answer to believing prayer. (I Peter 2:24)
Rapture: We believe in the blessed hope,
which is the rapture of the Church, at Christ's coming.
Mission Statement: Our vision is that
First Assembly will be a haven where people can come and find a warm
accepting atmosphere, and a sense of family and belonging.
