Ever have those days where you feel like you are just worn out?  Maybe you’ve worked all day and you get home and your mom says, "You need to clean your room!" - And of course you don’t have the strength to do it.  But you do.

Our daily walk with Christ is the just the same way.  Maybe we’ve read our bibles, prayed it up, and fought the Devil all the way home - And at the end of the day you just want to relax  - But the Devil doesn’t take a vacation so he hits you with his best shot!  - Now tell me you don’t feel like giving up.

But the word of God encourages us that when all else fails, to stand.

Ephesians 6:13 (AMP)

Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place]. (Emphasis Mine)

1 Corinthians 15:58 (NIV)
Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

But it doesn’t stop there.  It’s not just an encouragement to "keep on keepin’ on" - It’s an equipping.  In Ephesians 6:10-18  Paul instructs us in the Lord, that we are to be strong, to stand, acknowledge the weapons of our enemy, and to take up our "full armor of God" and fight. READ IT!!

You see when all else fails, God shows us how to overcome.  He says to stand and fight with everything we need to overcome the snares or traps of the devil. 

So today, or this afternoon, or even tonight as you lay down, begin to literally put on the fullness of God, and pull down the enemy.

Romans 8:37

…in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
